FAQ

If you have any questions that aren’t listed here, feel free to reach out to me through the Contact page. I’m always happy to help!

  • You can get started by booking a session or purchasing a package through the Services and Pricing page. Once you’ve made your selection, you’ll be directed to fill out my Intake form. This form helps me learn more about your fitness goals, current activity level, and any health considerations.

After I’ve reviewed your form, I’ll reach out if I need any additional details or clarification and to discuss next steps. From there, we’ll schedule your first session and create a personalized plan to help you reach your goals.

  • Sessions start at $75 for a 60-minute one-on-one training session. If you’d like to train with a friend, the cost is $50 per person per session. Package deals are also available for those who want to commit to multiple sessions. Please visit the Personal Training Sessions page to view all packages.

  • I offer private one-on-one and two-person (buddy) training sessions for women 30+ in my home studio. My training focuses on strength, balance, and flexibility, with personalized programs to match your fitness level and goals. Whether you’re new to strength training or looking to get back into shape, we’ll work together to create a safe and effective workout plan.

  • My training program is tailored for women 30+ who want to improve their strength, balance, flexibility, and overall wellness. Whether you’re new to exercise, getting back into a routine, or dealing with minor joint pain, I can customize workouts to your needs. I also work with pregnant and postpartum women, as long as they have been cleared for exercise by their healthcare provider.

Even if you’re just looking for a few sessions to build confidence and feel more comfortable before transitioning to a traditional gym, I’m happy to help. If you have more complex medical conditions or injuries, we can discuss whether my services are a good fit or if a referral to a specialist is more appropriate.

  • Absolutely! Your training schedule can be fully customized based on your goals, availability, and how many sessions you’d like to commit to each week. We’ll work together to find a routine that fits your lifestyle and keeps you motivated.

  • All sessions take place in my private home gym, located in the basement of my home in Bridlewood. The gym is fully equipped with weights, resistance bands, a cable machine, a stationary bike, and more. Please note that there is a flight of stairs to access the gym, so keep this in mind if you have any mobility concerns.

  • At the moment, my focus is on in-person training sessions in my home studio. However, if there is enough interest in virtual training, I’m open to exploring that option.

  • All you need to bring is comfortable workout clothing and a water bottle. I provide all the necessary equipment in my home studio. If you have any specific gear you prefer, feel free to bring that along too!
I always encourage my clients to train with just socks on because it’s great for stability, balance, and foot strength. Totally up to you though!

  • Your safety is my top priority, and I always take medical conditions and past injuries seriously when designing a fitness plan. If you have any conditions like back pain, knee pain, or other joint issues, I’ll customize your workout to be safe and manageable, focusing on exercises that help improve strength and mobility without causing further discomfort.

However, there are certain high-risk medical conditions that I am not equipped to handle. These include severe cardiovascular issues (like uncontrolled hypertension or recent heart attacks), advanced respiratory disorders (such as severe COPD), uncontrolled diabetes, recent major surgeries, advanced osteoporosis, or neurological conditions that require specialized training. If you fall into any of these categories or have a complex medical history, I may recommend consulting with a specialist or working with a physical therapist to ensure your safety.

Before starting any program, we may need to get medical clearance from your healthcare provider, especially if you have a significant injury or chronic condition. Feel free to reach out if you have specific questions about whether I can safely accommodate your needs.

  • I understand that life can be unpredictable, especially when you’re balancing work, family, and self-care. I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to your session.

Cancellation requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be considered a late cancellation/no-show, and the session will be forfeited if booked as part of a package.

The only exception is if you’re able to move your session to another available time on the same day—if there’s space, I’ll do my best to accommodate.

This policy helps me make necessary adjustments and accommodate other clients who may be waiting for an opening.

  • I always recommend starting with a single pay-as-you-go session so we can make sure we’re a great coaching fit before you invest in a 5- or 10-session package. After a package has begun, I don’t issue refunds.

  • Results vary from person to person and depend on factors like your consistency, nutrition, and overall lifestyle. Typically, you may start noticing changes in your strength and energy levels within a few weeks. We'll set realistic goals together and track your progress along the way.

  • That’s completely normal, and you’re not alone! My home studio is designed to be a welcoming and judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable and supported. We’ll go at your pace, and I’m here to help you build confidence every step of the way!

  • Yes! I also offer meal planning guidance as a separate service. While I don’t provide recipes or do meal prep, I can help you develop a meal plan that supports your fitness and weight loss goals. Plus, I can connect you with a local meal prep service that delivers healthy, ready-to-eat meals straight to your door.

  • While I understand that childcare can be a challenge, my home gym isn’t set up for children to be present during training sessions for safety reasons. If finding time without the kids is difficult, we can discuss options to make scheduling as convenient as possible for you.

  • I chose to focus on women 30+ because this stage of life often comes with unique health and fitness challenges, such as changes in metabolism, hormonal shifts, joint pain, and the need to maintain bone density and muscle mass. My programs are specifically designed to address these needs with a focus on strength, balance, flexibility, and overall wellness. Whether you’re looking to get stronger, improve your energy levels, or stay active and healthy as you age, I’m here to support you with personalized, age-appropriate training.
